Our mission is straightforward: the world needs more of Jesus, not less! That's why we're committed to spreading the message about how wonderful Jesus is to as many people as possible. We do this through events that explain who Jesus is and what he hopes for us. A key part of our message is always encouraging others to follow Jesus' example in their thoughts, words, actions, and behavior. Let's be honest, our world could really use more love and forgiveness.
The event will consist of several one-hour worship services focused on teaching. Each session will include prayer, a brief musical segment, and a Jesus-centered lesson related to the event's theme, lasting about half an hour. Sessions will start at the beginning of the hour and conclude around the 45 to 50-minute mark, providing a 10-minute break before the next session begins at the top of the next hour. This break allows attendees to stretch, grab a drink, or use the restroom, and provides flexibility for new arrivals or those needing to depart promptly.
As stated in our purpose, our goal is to teach about Jesus. The primary historical document that highlights Jesus is universally recognized as the Bible. For this reason, we strongly encourage every speaker to substantiate their points with ample biblical scripture. Likewise, we equally urge each attendee to bring their own Bible or utilize one provided at the event to follow along during the lessons. Seeing the truth firsthand is key! This event is not about promoting a particular denomination. Our focus is solely on promoting Jesus and his Word — the Bible!
Visitors are welcome to simply sit back and learn about Jesus at our event. There will be opportunities for group singing, where you can join in or simply listen. Prayer will be led by designated individuals, and we kindly request that everyone respects the proceedings. Importantly, there will never be a collection taken during any session, so there's no need to worry about feeling pressured or put on the spot in that regard.
No special attire is needed—just come! Even if it's only for an hour before or after your child's game at the ballpark, we'd love to see you. If you're already at the ballpark for your child's game, just come over directly from there. Whatever you're wearing for the day's other events will be perfect for this one too.
Absolutely not. In fact, only one or two workers will be at each session. We would love for you to find time in your day to attend at least one session. That said, the lessons will be so good, you might want to stay longer than you expected.
